Saint Charles International has began since 2009 the construction of a solar power plant integrated into the building which will end at the end of 2011 for a surface of 70 000 m² and a power of 9 MWc

The Economic Pole Saint Charles carries(wears) a project of creation of a photovoltaic power plant integrated into the building of 10 MW by the replacement of 90 000 m ² of existing roofs representing 40 owners among which the General Council of the Pyrénées Orientales and the Community of Town(Conglomeration) of Perpignan Mediterranean Sea. Eventually these 2 construction sites will represent more than 50 % of the objective fixed to the city of Perpignan within the framework of the agreements of grain of the environment. They will produce the equivalent of 22 % of the electricity of the city of Perpignan.
